dolce far niente.

one sangria, one jagerbomb and half a pina colada later, im back home, not wanting to sleep, sorting out pictures of the last getaway.

here goes!

view from the hotel - the closest i've ever gotten to the clouds, i think?

awesome meals at the palace restaurant.

blowing our moolah on silly games in exchange for tickets.

breakfast the next morning at hao you ji, not awesome.

caught the legendary amazons and puss in boots!

playtime woohoooooo

in TISH knit throwover in wine red - had a damn hard time choosing which colour i wanted :(
am sucha sucker for knitwear!

other than the weather, cheap movie tickets, and people-watching at the casinos, there's nothing much to lure me back to genting again, really. but still, 'twas a good getaway from work, what more with my bestest travel buddy :)

gotta do some major saving for a big trip next year... mmm-hmm.

off to bed!

xoxo,
sharon

Hello! Is the TISH throwover similar to the MYA cardigan from a few collections back?

missypixie said...

anon2: hello! yes its similar but its more oversized and the knit is different :) but if you're asking me, i like the cutting of TISH better! :)

Does the picture of "I'M A MISSYPIXIE GIRL 2011" have to show the face?

Hi! is TISH throwover available at kissjane? thanks:)

Hi! May i know why do you prefer the TISH throwover as compared to the MYA throwover? (:

Hi! Which colour for Blair (navy or black) should i take if i want to match it with more colourful bottoms, such as salmon pink or forest green? I'm quite fair also. Thanks! :)

hey sharon (: how does the knit material of TISH feel like? is the knit thick? thanks in advance ^^

anon3: hi dear the details are all in the caption! if there is anything else you'd like to find out, you can email me at ask@shopmissypixie.com! and preferably the picture can show the face but if you are really too shy, we will accept your entry nonetheless :)

anon4: we will be stocking TISH throwover at KissJane tomorrow!

anon5: hi! i just like the kind of knit for TISH better - the kind of knit for MYA is kinda too small for my liking :) just a personal preference i guess!

anon6: i would take black if i were you 'cos that's the safest bet! cos the navy one has red cuffs and it'd be a wee bit too colourful with bold bottoms i think :)

anon7: yup the knit is quite thick - great for really cold air-conditioned places! its a little woolly to the touch as well and keeps you really warm and toasty!

Hey there! :D Just asking, is the color of tish khaki similar to oatmeal/nude, but with more grey-ish tones in it?

missypixie said...

anon8: hi! i guess you can say that it has grey undertones.. its a lil darker in real life as compared to the pictures. perhaps more like taupe? :)

where are you going next year!

Is "I'M A MISSYPIXIE GIRL 2011" really that simple? No strings attached? Will the girl have to be involved it any MP shoots/ anything afterwards?

missypixie said...

anon9: not sure yet! :)

anon10: yup its really that simple! its just to reward our customers at the end of the year. no strings attached, really! :)

hi just want to clarify what the 'willow' label means exactly? i bought the tish throwover as it is labelled 'willow' on your site hence i assumed this represented that it would be self-manufactured by MP. however, it comes with a tag that indicates otherwise ('serada'). i feel that if it's an 'imported' item it should be stated clearly and not represented as coming under your own label. do appreciate some clarification on this thanks.

hey babe, its actually because the supplier sewn the wrong label for TISH and if we were to send it back to her to change to our 'willow' label, the to and fro would take up to a month!

Therefore, we decided to go ahead with the label and sell the item as we didn't wish to wait that long. However, TISH's design and colours are indeed chosen and manuctured by us, hence its classified as a WILLOW item :)

lol i was wondering about the label thingy too. but anyway just received TISH khaki today and it's awesomeeee, goes with almost anything! Are you guys going to remake it in more colors, especially nude/oatmeal or matcha? :D

missypixie said...

anon11: hi dear the contest only takes up to a month - two weeks for submission and two weeks for voting :) i think that's normal for a contest!

anon13: nope don't think we are able to remake it :( so sorry!!
